Elaine McCormick Wray
   The Elaine McCormick Wray Award was established in 2003 to honor an organization or individual for outstanding work promoting the philosophy and services of the Working Family Resource Center (WFRC). Award recipients are committed to educating, supporting and affirming working families by providing work-life education at the worksite.

Elaine McCormick Wray founded WFRC and was recipient of the first award. Her dream was to bring family education to the workplace in St. Paul. The ideas and programs she started in 1985 have evolved into WFRC's current mission--to educate, strengthen and affirm working families in their multiple life roles at the worksite.

This year’s award recipient was recognized and honored at the 20th 
Annual Working Family Support Awards on October 6, 2009.



 Kathy Couture of Xcel Energy and Philomena Morrissey Satre of Wells Fargo accept the Elaine McCormick Wray Award an behalf of the Minneapolis Coalition of Family Frienldy Workplaces.

The Elaine McCormick Wray Award recognizes outstanding individuals or business organizations that are committed to educating, supporting and affirming working families. The recipients of this award demonstrate their commitment to championing work and family integration by providing parenting and work-life seminars at the worksite.
