COMPANIES HONORED AT NINETEENTH ANNUAL WORKING FAMILY SUPPORT AWARDS

Saint Paul, Minn. Ninety seven Minnesota companies were honored at the Annual Working Family Support Awards held on October 7, 2008 at the Southview Country Club in West Saint Paul.

The Working Family Resource Center recognized the Week of the Working Family by co-sponsoring with Ceridian LifeWorks, St. Paul Public Schools, CIGNA, Advantage Health and Wells Fargo the Nineteenth Annual Working Family Support Awards. Businesses are recognized and honored for providing education and support that helps their employees balance work and family demands.

A key address was delivered by Zachary Meyer, CEO of Ceridian LifeWorks. The Elaine McCormick Wray Award was given to Larry Brauch, Director of Community Relations at Liberty Diversified Industries for being a champion of early learning initiatives at his company and in his community.

The Working Family Resource Center educates, strengthens and affirms working families at the worksite by providing seminars and resources to help individuals manage their work life challenges.
